Saskatchewans 13th Lieutenant Governor, Dr. Worobetz s unparalleled record of service to the province and Canada is exemplary. A member of the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps serving in Italy and England, he later became a General Surgeon in Saskatoon and held numerous medical positions locally, provincially, and nationally. Throughout his career, he was active in community and professional activities, being both named a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a founding charter chairman of the board of St. Josephs Nursing Home in Saskatoon. He was also past president of the Ukrainian Catholic Council of Saskatchewan and past president of the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry Association of Saskatchewan.
