Centennial Stamp

Canada Post will mark the University of Saskatchewan's 100th anniversary by issuing a commemorative stamp in 2007. The stamp will feature the U of S logo and an image of the College Building, the heart of the U of S campus.

A Canada Post artist designed the stamp image and prepared the Official First Day Cover. A collector's item, this special envelope will include a U of S stamp cancelled on the day of issue, as well as information about the institution.

Following the release of the First Day Cover, usable stamps will be issued in booklets that include information about the University and the College Building.

The stamp will be issued and available at Canada Post outlets on April 3, 2007.
