A Development Officer might work in the central Development Office or in one of the university's colleges or schools.
In a college environment, the Development Officer engages with alumni and friends of their college to support specific priority projects of that college and to maximize total revenue development for their college. In the central Development Office, a Development Officer is specialized in a particular type of development, such as bequests and gifts of securities; major gifts to multiple areas of the university; or direct mail fundraising campaigns.
Working in Development requires a combination of business acumen and an affection for the University of Saskatchewan. If you're interested in helping donors realize their philanthropic goals, join us.
