Dr. Milner has been a consultant to industry, governments, and applied science institutions on nutrition and food, and has organized and chaired many national and international conferences on food problems.Degree received: Doctor of Laws
He is a senior lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he coordinated a major protein resources study and was associate director of an international nutrition program. He also lectures in the School of Health at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Early in his career, he taught cereal chemistry for 12 years at Kansas State University. In 1959, he joined UNICEF as a senior food technologist and in 1971, he became scientific secretary of the UN's Protein-Calorie Advisory Group.
He joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1975 and assumed his present position with the American Institute of Nutrition in 1978.
He has some 120 scientific and technical publications to his credit and has delivered papers at many international conferences over the last 25 years.
