By the unanimous consent of the Senate, on the motion of President Murray, seconded by Bishop Newnham, the Chancellor conferred the Honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law in absentia on the Honorable E.L. Wetmore, former Chancellor.Degree received: Doctor of Civil Law
The proposer and seconder, and the Chancellor in conferring the degree paid tribute to the eminent services rendered by Mr. Wetmore to the University and the people of the Province during his tenure of the offices of Chief Justice, and Chancellor of the University.
