Finding Information at the University Archives
Although it is certainly not required, it is often best to telephone or e-mail the archives before making a visit. Staff can then advise on whether a visit is necessary, or advise about other institutions which may have the information required. Researchers may also obtain detailed information from the University Archives databases regarding archival holdings.
Guides (or finding aids) to most collections are available in the Archives Reading Room. Archives' staff will discuss your research interests with you, and provide the appropriate guides.
