Glenn Hollinger is acting Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Associate Vice-President, Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Prior to that appointment, he served as Director ICT Client Services, as well as Acting Director and Associate Director of the Information Technology Services Division.
After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (Advanced with Honours) at the University of Saskatchewan in 1985, Glenn began working for the then Department of Academic Computing. Since then he has held a number of staff and management positions in IT at the U of S, responsible for all areas of service delivery. During his time at the University of Saskatchewan, Glenn completed his Masters of Business Administration at the Edwards School of Business.
Glenn has developed and managed significant projects and service improvements, including the USRnet networking project, Voice over IP Telephone service and developing wireless network services. He has been an active participant in research networking at the provincial and national level since 1992.
Active in the local community, Glenn is a board member and past Chair of the French School Society, responsible for the oversight and development of the Saskatoon French School. Glenn also sings in two community choruses, Eclipse and Joy of VOX.
