Background
Dr. Hendrick received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2001. Dr. Hendrick worked in rural veterinary practices in Ontario for a year until he returned to the University of Guelph and completed a Doctor of Veterinary Science degree in 2005.
In 2005, Dr. Hendrick became a new faculty member at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. He is actively involved in the Field Service practice of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. The field service practice provides veterinary services to cow-calf and feedlot operations in the Saskatoon area. Dr. Hendrick is also involved in the WCVM disease investigation unit.
Research Focus

Dr. Hendrick's general research interest includes the epidemiology of infectious diseases in cow-calf and feedlot operations. He has a particular interest in Johne's disease (bovine paratuberculosis) in cow-calf herds in Western Canada. |
