This study was initiated in the spring of 2000 to study various aspects of
foraging behaviours and population dynamics of arctic foxes in relation to
seasonal and annual variation in foods. Field-work is done at the large goose colony
at Karrak Lake, Nunavut, Canada, and in areas outside the influence of nesting geese
(see map).
