I
am currently accepting applications for graduate students interested
in conducting research on some aspect of insect behaviour. Current
projects include collision avoidance in locusts and odour-guided
flight of moths. Students in my lab would be exposed to current
and state of the art techniques for studying behaviour and/or neurophysiology.
Equipment includes the virtual reality flight simulator and free
flight wind tunnel. Current experience in these areas is not essential
but an interest in learning new ideas and approaches is invaluable. |
