Due to the great response to the Call for Papers, the main conference program has now been updated to include two concurrent sessions of workshops and talking circles to be offered on the afternoon of Thursday, May 10. Please see the 'Program' for more details.
Canadian Alliance for Community Service-Learning Conference 2012: Impacts of Community Engagement
The University of Saskatchewan is proud to host the 2012 Canadian Alliance for Community Service-Learning (CACSL) Conference on May 10, 11, and 12. We would be honoured by your involvement in this opportunity to share knowledge and conversation around the practice and outcomes of community service-learning and community-engaged learning in Canada.
The conference will focus on the impacts of community engagement, how all stakeholders are affected by CSL practices and programs. We hope to spark conversation, facilitate the development of potential research alliances, and share practices so that we can learn from authentic engagement with each other.
Founded in 2004, CACSL has been built on the support of many institutions across Canada. This conference will expand on this established tradition of collaboration and presents a new opportunity to share with and learn from each other.
We look forward to seeing you in May!
