Canadian Light Source Tours

Canadian Light Source

The Canadian Light Source synchrotron (CLS),  is the nation’s largest scientific installation in a generation with users from across Canada and around the world. Tours for interested conference attendees have been arranged for, Monday, Tuesday 3:30 to 4:30 PM. Additional tour times may be added if required.

Morning Running Group

Monday and Tuesday morning beginning at 6:00 am.

Start the day refreshed, with a run beginning and ending on the beautiful University of Saskatchewan campus. The running group will be passing by the conference hotel for those wishing to join the group for part of the run. A couple of our local running enthusiasts will accompany you for the early morning run of the scenic Meewasin trails. Meet on the hill between the Arts Building and the Thorvaldson Building (see map). Even if you haven’t pre-registered, please feel free to join the group.

Please note that the running group will be cancelled if it is raining.

Physical Activity Centre

Looking for some indoor space to keep up with your fitness routine while at the conference? Come check out the PAC, the campus Physical Activity Centre located in the Kinesiology building. The fitness centre, running/walking tracks, climbing wall and swimming pools, are available for use with a drop-in rate of $8. Hours and building information.
