Annual SoTL Symposium

The Centre for Discovery in Learning (CDL), in conjunction with the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching Effectiveness and the Vice-Provost (Teaching and Learning), are proud to host an Annual Symposium for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).  This symposium celebrates the diverse research being conducted on teaching and learning in higher education across the U of S campus, and also provides opportunities for faculty, sessionals, staff and graduate students new to SoTL to learn more about it.

3rd Annual U of S SoTL Symposium

"Celebrating the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning"

The 3rd Annual SoTL Symposium will be held this coming April 29th and 30th

We are very excited to have two keynote speakers for our symposium, Dan Bernstein (Director of the University of Kansas Centre for Teaching and Learning, and past-President of the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) and Patti McDougall (the Vice-Provost Teaching and Learning of the University of Saskatchewan).  Dan will be addressing the topic of the impact of SoTL on faculty teaching practices in higher education, while Patti will be speaking about a vision for institutionalizing SoTL at the University of Saskatchewan.

The deadline for submission has now passed. We look forward to seeing you at the Symposium! Join the conversation on Twitter: #SoTL13.
