SCHOLARSHIPS and AWARDS

Dean's Scholarship Program

The College of Graduate Studies and Research is delighted to announce the first competition of the Dean's Scholarship Program. The intent of Dean's Scholarships is to attract high caliber students to the University of Saskatchewan. These awards will be offered to students who have outstanding academic records, show research promise and are registering for the first time in a thesis or dissertation-based graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan. Click here for more information.

University Graduate Scholarships

The College of Graduate Studies and Research (CGSR) offers University Graduate Scholarships (UGSs) through a devolved and a non-devolved system. Graduate programs belonging to the non-devolved system participate in a University-wide competition. The Interdisciplinary Program currently belongs to the devolved fund.

The deadline for Interdisciplinary Scholarship Application is March 31.  Students not already in the Interdisciplinary program must have applied and had their application accepted by the Interdisciplinary Committee to be eligible to apply for a scholarship. Applications are considered by the InterD committee at their monthly meeting. To be assured that their application will be considered in time, potential students should have their applications in for the February meeting (applications must be submitted one week before the date of the meeting). Please see News and Deadlines for the date of the InterD meeting in March.

Applications for Scholarships and Admission must follow InterD's internal deadlines. Contact InterD for more information: interd.studies@usask.ca. Failure to adhere to the date deadlines will result in missing the review process.
