By nature, Interdisciplinary Studies is highly individualistic and the majority of students follow a personal or individual program of study.
Students interested in Graduate Interdisciplinary Studies program should consult with the Chair of the Interdisciplinary Studies Committee to discuss their research interests. The Chair can confirm the interdisciplinarity nature of your proposal and provide information on the program requirements and on the procedure to be followed in developing your program proposal.
In order to streamline the process of admission where several students are engaged in a similar interdisciplinary area of study, the College of Graduate Studies and Research has approved the formation of Concentrations. At present, there is one Concentration. If you think that your own interdisciplinary research proposal follows along the lines of this Concentration, please follow the link below for more information.
