The University of Saskatchewan is home to one of the most highly internationalized graduate colleges in the country. This has arisen in part due to the growth in research activities and associated demands on campus, as well as the relatively low tuition fees for international students. As part of this internationalization, the College of Graduate Studies and Research (CGSR) is continuing its efforts in furthering academic linkages with institutions in Ecuador and recruiting top-quality graduate students for a wide variety of programs at the UofS.
The CGSR’s Dean, Dr. Lawrence Martz, and Ms. Penny Skilnik will be traveling in Ecuador April 14th – April 19th as part of this continued effort to grow a graduate student population that is reflective of our province in which we live and our world that we serve.
As part of this effort, Dr. Martz and Ms. Skilnik will be meeting with interested students at the FPPEDUMedia Quito Education Fair April 15th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. For further information, or to schedule a meeting time, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Dr. Martz and Ms. Skilnik will also be meeting with senior administrators, faculty and students at select institution in Ecuador; and with representatives from the Secretario Nacional de Education Superior, Ciencia, Tecnologia e Innovation (SENECYT).
