POGO’s Research Unit (PRU) is hosting a free research day for graduate students and early career professionals in the field of pediatric oncology. Hear from some of the most experienced clinical and academic researchers in the field, as well as POGO Fellows and recipients of POGO Seed Grants on:
- POGONIS - POGO’s Networked Information System (POGONIS) is one of the richest cancer databases in the country; learn how to capitalize on this unique and rich resource to further your pediatric cancer research.
- Grant Writing - Explore the art of grant writing with experts in the field of pediatric oncology who will share their best practices to help you prepare a grant application that stands out from the rest.
- Career Training - Hear from some of Ontario’s most distinguished clinicians and researchers in the field of pediatric oncology about the unique opportunities that a career in this field presents.
- POGO Opportunities - Learn more about POGO and the POGO Research Unit (PRU) and how it supports graduate students and early career professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in pediatric oncology.
