Changes to Tri-Council Stipends
NSERC, CIHR, and SSHRC have announced important changes regarding the level of stipends that could be paid to students and postdoctoral fellows. In March 2011, the three agencies agreed that their individual regulations on support for students and trainees paid through grants should be removed.
