The Project:
Duties: Conduct and publish research related to the defined research areas; assist in the coordination and daily operation of a research program, including the research activities of graduate (both M.S. and Ph.D.) students, technicians and collaborators; be involved in various grant-related activities, and preparation of manuscripts for publication from various projects.

Qualifications:
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in one of the following areas: feed/food chemistry, ruminant nutrition, or feed science technology with strong background in biochemistry, demonstrated expertise in animal research, data analysis, and techniques in molecular spectroscopy, ruminant nutrition and feed science research; expertise in data interpretation and publication of results in the scientific literature; and strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with grantsmanship, manuscript preparation, teaching and supervising undergraduate and graduate students, and a demonstrated ability to work with other investigators, support personnel, and students in a collaborative research environment .

Starting Date: Until position is successfully filled.

Stipend: Salary will follow the university standard for a PDF. Funds to carry out associated research activities are available.
