The Project:

An ongoing project to work on the molecular biology of avian adenoviruses with emphasis on their development as vectors for vaccine delivery and human gene therapy.

Qualifications:

Candidate should have a Ph.D. in molecular virology/biology; however, a strong background in avian immunology/viorology is desirable.

Starting Date: ASAP

Stipend: $40,000/year

Other Information: VIDO's research activities are focused on multidisiplinary approaches to the control of infectious diseases in animals and humans through the development of novel vaccines and therapeutics plus methods for their use. The Organization provides a stimulating collaborative environnment in a variety of disciplines, including molecular microbiology, immunology, genomics and proteomics, cell biology and clinical research.
