The Project:
Our laboratory is interested in studying the molecular mechanisms of hepatitis C viral pathogenesis. Our recent research was published in Journal of General Virology, 91: 1388, 2010; Journal of General Virology, 89: 1225, 2008; and Journal of Hepatology, 46: 999, 2007. Future research will further elucidate signal transduction pathways modulating HCV-host cell interactions. The post-doctoral fellow will have the opportunity to join the National CIHR Research Training Program in Hepatitis C (www.ncrtp-hepc.ca).
