The Opportunity:
A postdoctoral position in the area of EPR spectroscopy/first-principles calculations of minerals and other crystalline materials is available immediately in the Department of Geological Sciences, University of Saskatchewan.
Qualifications:
The applicant must have a Ph.D. degree in geology, chemistry or physics, a strong background in mineral spectroscopy and/or experience in first principles calculations, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and ability to work independently.
Stipend:
$35,000 - $40,000
Duration:
Initial appointment will be made for one year. Renewal is available upon satisfactory performance review.
