The Opportunity:
The Department of Civil and Geological Engineering is currently looking for a student interested in pursuing a M.Sc. degree in transportation engineering field.
Project Description:
The applicant is expected to conduct the following specific tasks: 1) Develop accident prediction models for rural highway network; 2) Develop advanced speed consistency models; and/or 3) Develop disaggregated speed prediction models.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science degree is required with specialization in a relevant discipline. Additional qualifications include having obtained a cumulative average of at least 80% over the last 60 credit hours/units of the baccalaureate program.
Stipend:
The student will be funded at the minimum level of $15,000 through research funds. Significant additional funding is available from scholarship opportunities through competition based on grades and teaching assistantships through application to the Department.
