Welcome
The Chemistry Course Council
(CCC), established in 2003, is a young and dynamic graduate student's
organization within the Department of Chemistry at the University of
Saskatchewan.
CCC is an organization that cares about both the academic and social aspects of graduate students’ lives; functioning as a ‘reactive intermediate’ between graduate students and the department.
Academically speaking, we have a Graduate Affairs Committee member who is responsible for academic and administrative regulations concerning the graduate program in the department and the University. We also have a Departmental Meeting Representative who acts as our voice in the department. The CCC as a whole along with the graduate chair provide information to students about changes which will affect them within the department and university as a whole.
As for the social function of the CCC, we organize different social events for graduate students, including a New Graduate Students Mixer, Pumpkin Carving Contest, and End of Year Social. We also help international students in the department to become more comfortable with the Canadian culture by organizing a variety of ice breakers.
As the representatives of the students we strive to meet their needs and enable them to have the most successful student experience possible.
