Click Here to View Our Welcome and Orientation to the IMG Support Program The IMG Support Program assists
non-licensed IMGs to further enhance their professional profile by involvement
in and contact with the Canadian health care system through various program
components. Services through the IMG
Support Program introduce eligible IMGs to medical practice in Canada and help
participants focus their own review and study plans. A Program Coordinator is available to share
information about community resources, assist participants to develop a
Learning Plan and discuss education and professional development funding that
may be available through the IMG Support Program to achieve these goals. The Program has several support
components including exam preparation workshops, medical conferences,
professional development including Observership and Preceptorship
opportunities, and a Program Coordinator to facilitate the process. Eligibility for program components will be
determined in conjunction with the Program Coordinator and the development of
the Learning Plan. Key elements of the
program include an intake process, learning plan and on-going consultations
with the program coordinator. Program Eligibility Summary Click Here for the Intake Form - IMG Support Program. Click Here for the Consent to Collect Personal Information Form. Please return completed forms by email to img.supportprogram@usask.ca The program is not intended to replace
undergraduate or post-graduate medical education, individual study, or any
components of the Saskatchewan International Physicians Practice Assessment
(SIPPA) program.
