nursing station. During working hours doctors check

their messages regularly. Urgent calls are forwarded to

Comments:

New patients are booked for one hour and follow up

visits for one-half hour. New patients are usually seen

within one week. Waiting time in the waiting room is

usually not longer than ten minutes. There is a day

sheet with the outpatient appointment schedule. The

receptionist has a good view of the waiting room and

there is no chance of patients being missed. Dr. Good

tries to squeeze in emergencies and if he is away the

doctor on call will deal with urgent cases.
