Departmental Muilti-Funtional Devices (MFD) are provided to campus departments through a partnership between Consumer Services and Xerox. Consumer Services has had a long standing relationship with Xerox, they have provided quality products, offering a variety of solutions towards improved operational efficiencies and document knowledge which enable cost reductions. They have exceptional service and more importantly, they stand behind their products.
MFD's are in place to provide convenient, quick and reliable service to U of S faculty/staff for low-volume printing, any long run copying should be sent to Printing Services Document Solutions & Distribution as high volume copying can be done more economically and efficiently at Printing Services Document Solutions & Distribution Copy Centres.
MFD's are placed in departments based on the department needs, copier volume, number of users and location.
