Student Parking
There are a number of parking lots (approximately 1200 spaces) allocated for student parking at or near the University of Saskatchewan. In July and August (annually), the Student Parking Sale is conducted through PAWS as an On-Line Sale. A successful ballot wins the privilege of purchasing parking in a preferred choice of lots randomly selected by the on-line draw. Ballots are available July 1 - August 30, 2012 with the actual draw held on August 31st, 2012.
Please.... remember you have paid (with your student registration) for a
U-PASS which allows access to all
Saskatoon Transit buses and that Parking and Transportation Services supports carpooling. To register, go to www.carpool.ca.
RESIDENT STUDENTS including Saskatchewan, Qu'appelle & Athabasca Halls, (Voyaguer Place), McEown Park and all College Quarter Residences, Lutheran and Sheptypsky residences. DO NOT APPLY TO THE ON- LINE SALE. Apply directly to Parking and Transportation Services
Parking Items of Interest
- effective September 1 annually, permits are required in all lots. There is no free parking. If you do not have a permit, you must park in pay parking.
- all student lots are "scramble" parking which means any vehicle displaying a valid permit for the designated lot, may park in any available stall within the lot. The permit may be used on different vehicles, but must be properly displayed on the rear view mirror when parking in the lot. If you forget your permit in another vehicle, you must find alternate parking. Student lots are enforced on a daily basis.
- all fees and bylaws must be observed at all times. Please note the University bylaws prohibit parking on roadways and fire lanes among other things.
Final Exams
There will be NO FREE PARKING during final exams. All lots will require permits at all times. Meters and pay parking will operate as usual. All bylaws will be enforced.
