The School of Physical Therapy, College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan offers a Master of Physical Therapy (M.P.T.) program.
Features of the MPT Curriculum
- 2 years and 6 weeks of continuous full time study
- Curriculum delivered through a wide variety of educational methods with opportunity for independent discovery and inter-professional educational experiences
- Advanced education in research methods as a foundation for evidence-based treatment
- Development of a major research oriented project as a capstone for the M.P.T.
- A strong clinical focus with practicum experiences integrated throughout the program
Admission Requirements
Applicants must hold a four year baccalaureate degree (in any discipline) from a college or university of acceptable standing and must also meet School of Physical Therapy residency requirements. Successful completion of prerequisite courses is also required.
