College of Dentistry White Coat Ceremony

The College of Dentistry is celebrating today as our 28 second-year students progress toward the dentistry profession during our annual white coat ceremony. The ceremony, which marks a studentís transition from the simulation lab to patient care and clinical treatment takes place today, Friday, January 6th, 2012 at 1:30 pm in Convocation Hall. A reception immediately follows at the Faculty Club.

The 2012 year is the 40th anniversary of the first graduates from the College. Dr. Jim Wilson, from the first graduating class will deliver the keynote address. Members from the Class of 1972 will also participate in the ceremony.

Dr. Gerry Uswak, Dean of the College of Dentistry, will host the ceremony during which each student will be gifted with a white lab coat provided by the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
