The University regards the health and safety of its students, employees and visitors and the protection of the environment as core values. Safety performance is a key indicator of organizational excellence. Workplace Safety & Environmental Protection (WSEP) is a resource to the University community. Our goal is to continually strive to improve performance and reduce injuries, risks and liabilities. We strongly believe that safety is a shared responsibility and that line management plays a critical role in providing leadership and fulfilling their supervisory obligations. WSEP offers a number of services to support the University’s moral and legal obligations. I invite you to take advantage of our department’s services and become a strong advocate and partner in support of health, safety and protection of the environment.
