Radiation Safety

The Radiation Safety program administers the use of nuclear substances and radiation devices for the University. This program is successful in protecting the health and safety of the community, securing nuclear substances and protecting the environment.  This is accomplished by providing training, conducting workplace inspections, and through inventory audits.  The program ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, laboratory designs for research facilities meet international standards, and a healthy environment for the advancement of research.
