Kirkpatrick Travel Award Winners, 2010 - 2011

Robert Kraft has been selected as the recipient of the Kirkpatrick Travel Award for 2010-2011.

Rob is a teacher and a literacy leader in the Greater Saskatoon Catholics. He is the team leader for teachers working on a pilot project involved in student assessment. The All Work Done pilot project focuses on student support and improving student achievement through increased communication with parents, having a higher set of expectations and making students more accountable for their work.

As a recipient of the Kirkpatrick Travel Award, Rob will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to visit Alverno College Educational Research and Evaluation Office to gain more knowledge in student assessment.

The Kirkpatrick Travel Award is administered jointly by the University of Saskatchewan College of Education, The University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association, and The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation. The annual award celebrates the contribution the late Dean Emeritus Balfour Kirkpatrick made to education in Saskatchewan.
