-addition, subtraction, division, multiplication problems when figuring out the dimensions of the garden, # of bulbs to plant, etc.

-surveying - # of people with gardens, # of organisms/wildlife in area, # of people with allergies

-population sampling of flowers, organisms, wildlife(compare and contrast)

*research the areas/sites where native plants like the Western Red Lily exist in Saskatchewan; explain causes for this occurrence of native prairie

          *Produce presentations to the school and town about the Western Red Lily

          *Field trips to seniors’ centres to make presentations on the WRL, gardening,etc.

*Create a garden in the town/city hall, encourage gardening at home, garden with the seniors at homes/centres around the area
