Learning Commons (Room 3139, Education)
The Learning Commons exists to provide faculty,
graduate students and staff of the College of Education
with the opportunity to create electronic supports for instruction, including
static media, electronic presentations and multimedia. The Learning Commons has 4 computer
stations: 2 Macintosh and 2 PCs. Peripheral equipment includes 4 flatbed
scanners (two with document feeders).
Computer Labs (Rooms 1037, 3134 and 3126, Education)
The Education Building has three computer labs that are accessible only to registered
Education students. Laser, colour, and colour transparency printers are available.
Division of Media Access and Production (Room 25, Education)
The Division of Media Access and Production (EMAP) provides audio-visual services and
media support for teaching, research and public service. As well, graduate
students whose reasearch may benefit from videotape or audio production may
be eligible for television and/or audio production support.
Information Technology Services Division (Room 56, Physics)
Information Technology Services (ITS) is responsible for the operation and support
of the campus computer network, and campus research and administrative computers.
ITS offers in-person and telephone
support, training courses, computer
and software sales, and computer
maintenance and repair.
