Graduate Program - Curriculum Studies
To qualify for the Master of Education in Curriculum Studies, you must:
- have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent four year degree.
- A minimum of one year of practical experience in education or a
related field post degree if the applicant holds a BEd degree or
- A minimum of three years of practical experience in education or
a related field post degree if the applicant does not hold a BEd degree.
- have a GPA of 70%
in your last 60 cu of coursework.

All applicants must submit the following:
- Complete the online application form;
- Pay the online application fee (more information is provided on the link to the application form).
- Three confidential letters of recommendation form GSR 101 are to be submitted online by the referees. Referees are notified by email (when their name and email address is entered in the online application) with instructions for completing and submitting their online letter. If a referee is unable to submit the online letter, the pdf version of GSR 101: Confidential Letter of Recommendation should be used. The hard copy of this form must be received by the department, in a sealed envelope. Please mail or deliver the form to Graduate Programs Office, Department of Curriculum Studies, College of Education, 28 Campus Drive, Saskatoon SK S7N 0X1.
- Transcripts from prior university work, unless your prior university
was the University of Saskatchewan. These transcripts must be sent
directly from your prior university (without passing through your hands)
to Graduate Programs, Department of Curriculum Studies,
College of Education, 28 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0X1
- An updated resume, with the focus on your educational background and
your teaching experience. This must be emailed or mailed to Graduate Programs,

- A letter of intent, no more than two pages, describing what has pushed
you to consider taking a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies
or what you would like to learn in your Master of Education in Curriculum
Studies. This must be emailed or mailed to Graduate Programs, Department of Curriculum
Studies,
College of Education, 28 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0X1
Admission is dependent on whether faculty in the department believe
they have the resources to support you in your program. If the
department accepts you, the College of Graduate Studies must also accept
you. We will send your forms on to the College of Graduate Studies.
