Graduate Program - Curriculum Studies

To qualify for the Master of Education in Curriculum Studies, you must:

OCCASTIONALLY STUDENTS ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN ALL SIX SUBMISSIONS. OCCASIONALLY THERE ARE WAYS AROUND THIS. CONTACT THE GRADUATE COORDINATOR

All applicants must submit the following:
  1. Form GSR 100 application. This should be done on-line at http://www.usask.ca/cgsr/prospective_students/apply.php
  2. The non-refundable application fee. This also can be done on- line at http://www.usask.ca/cgsr/prospective_students/apply.php
  3. Three Forms GSR 101, called "confidential letters" of reference.
    This form can be found at http://www.usask.ca/cgsr/administration/Forms.php
    The forms must be filled out by a person in a position to assess your academic potential, such as a faculty member, a supervisor, a colleague with whom you have done some academic work. These forms must be sent directly from your referee (without passing through your hands) to the Graduate Programs, Department of Curriculum Studies, 28 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0X1
  4. Transcripts from prior university work, unless your prior university was the University of Saskatchewan. These transcripts must be sent directly from your prior university (without passing through your hands) to Graduate Programs, Department of Curriculum Studies, 28 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0X1
  5. An updated resume, with the focus on your educational background and your teaching experience. This must be sent to Graduate Programs, Department of Curriculum Studies, 28 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0X1
  6. A letter of intent, no more than two pages, describing what has pushed you to consider taking a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies or what you would like to learn in your Master of Education in Curriculum Studies. This must be sent to Graduate Programs, Department of Curriculum Studies, 28 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0X1

Admission is dependent on whether faculty in the department believe they have the resources to support you in your program. If the
department accepts you, the College of Graduate Studies must also accept you. We will send your forms on to the College of Graduate Studies.
