FACULTY AND STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SASKATCHEWAN are welcome to participate in the study tour. Some will prefer to audit the class, and this is possible. The collective agreements provide for funding of continuing education activities. Please explore your agreement under the tuition remission and professional allowance clauses.

STUDY TOUR INFORMATION

The Department of Educational Foundations will sponsor a study tour to Rome May 2004

The tour may be taken for credit in undergraduate (EDFDT 454.3) or graduate (EDFDT 854.3) programs.

The topic of this special tour will be Ecumenism and Education. Students will visit the Eternal City, receive lectures by international experts, and learn about the works of the Catholic Church, as well as other denominations in ecumenical affairs.

The final cost is to be determined as we are seeking special financial support. Individual and group arrangements for financial assistance are to be negotiated.

NOTE: University of Saskatchewan students may be entitled to substantial financial support.

Students who wish to extend their visit to Europe may negotiate special arrangements with the travel agent for the tour.
