Support Camp fYrefly Saskatchewan
Camp fYrefly-Saskatchewan simply would not exist without
the support of many generous individuals, community organizations, and
businesses.
The annual budget of Camp fYrefly-Saskatchewan is raised
from a variety of sources, which include fundraisers, community partnerships,
individual and corporate donations and sponsorships, and our "Send
a Kid to Camp program".
Partnership with our two provincial universities ensures
financial accountability. You can be assured that your financial support
will be used to directly support sexual minority and gender variant youth.

Camp Sponsorship and Individual Donation
Friends of Camp fYrefly recognizes those individuals, organizations
and community groups that have made financial and/or in-kind donations
and sponsorships to support Camp fYrefly’s vision, mandate, and
educational philosophy.
Each level of sponsorship/donation presented below reflects a different
colour of the rainbow flag, which is the international symbol of the
sexual minority and gender deviant community. Each colour is imbued with
a special historical meaning, which we feel also reflects the core beliefs
and values of Camp fYrefly.
Why I support Camp fYrefly
"We are strong supporters of Camp fYrefly-Saskatchewan
because we believe it is our role to pave a smoother road for our younger
generations. We are so thankful that programs like this exist today,
as they encourage positive self-esteem within our community. It is our
duty to our community to ensure that programs like this remain successful
to allow the recipients and participants the greatest opportunities to
build confidence within themselves and their environments."
-Curtis and Jordan Korchinski
We welcome the arrival of Camp fYrefly in Saskatchewan. Our
young people will be able to experience--perhaps for the first time--a
completely positive environment where they can develop resilience and
confidence. We know the "Cf" transforms lives. Our
young people deserve this opportunity.
- Don Cochrane, Breaking the Silence Conference
Camp fYrefly-Saskatchewan's vision fits well with SIAST's
student-centred vision and core values of diversity and leadership. We
both believe in building up youth to enable them to take control of their
health and well-being, as well as other determinants that influence their
lives. Camp fYrefly-Saskatchewan will help young leaders to engage in
a collaborative and life-changing process, thereby allowing them to make
significant contributions to society as a whole.
