The Department of Curriculum Studies, University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level commencing July 1, 2015 with a focus on Educational Technology and Design.

In addition to conducting research and contributing to collegial processes, the successful candidate is expected to teach in the areas of instructional design, multimedia design, social media, and digital technologies in online learning environments at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  The candidate should have, or be near the completion of a doctoral degree in a related specialization, and possess the ability to work across disciplines. Applicants should demonstrate strong commitment to service through extracurricular involvement in community activities related to education, professional development and service, and/or post-secondary service involvement. Applicants must have relevant teaching and or instructional experience at the K-12 and/or post-secondary level. Applicants must demonstrate potential for scholarly productivity and the ability and expertise to supervise graduate students. Preferred candidates will have specific education and publications in one or more of the following areas: theory and applications of educational technology, digital and social media design and pedagogy, mobile learning, instructional design, and social science research methods.
