Research Interests:
Instrument development, analysis and
validation, program evaluation, and the application
of modern quantitative and analytical techniques
(classical test and item response theory, generalizability
theory, factor analysis, and structural equation
modeling) within the domains of education, health
and health promotion, quality of life, and sport.
I am currently conducting instrument development,
analysis, and validation research. In particular,
I am involved in three separate studies: (1)
The development and validation of a scale assessing
adults’ time management for exercise;
(2) The development and validation of a scale
assessing post-secondary students’ time
management and study skills; and (3) The accumulation
of behavioral validation evidence for the Physical
Activity Stage of Change scale.
