Getting Involved
Student Societies
There are three student societies affiliated with the College of Education:
the Education Students’ Society (ESS), the ITEP Student Executive and
the SUNTEP Student Representative Council.
Education Students' Society (ESS)
- The Education Students’ Society exists
to represent, enhance and promote the academic and non-academic interests
of all Education students in the College through unified, accountable
and effective leadership.
- The Education Students’ Society seeks to enhance
the experience of Education students by providing both professional
and extra curricular opportunities for growth.
ITEP Student Council
- The ITEP Student Council is a group of students representing the views
of the students enrolled in the ITEP program.
- The ITEP Student Council
office is located in Room 1010, Education Building.

SUNTEP Student Representative Council (SUNTEP SRC)
- The SUNTEP Student Representative Council is a group of students
representing the views of the students enrolled in the SUNTEP program.
- The SUNTEP SRC office is located in Room 1011, Education Building.
- The
SUNTEP SRC also has a PAWS group called the SUNTEP/GDC SRC which is
listed with the Student Government groups.
