Youth and Community
This program is put on in partnership between the College of Education and the University Learning Centre and the partnering community organizations. Upon successful completion of this program, every participant will receive a certificate and letter from the College of Education recognizing the learning possible through this program, and your dedication to youth and building a better community.

(AR09): Sense of Place
NS 107/GEOG 120/LC Hour
All students applying to Education must complete NS 107. For the elementary/middle years program, GEOG 120 could be used as part of a General Science teaching area or could be used to fulfill the 3 credit units of Science required by all elementary/middle years applicants. For the secondary program, GEOG 120 could be used as one of the external electives.

(AR10): Storytelling as Teachings
NS 107/ ENG 113/LC Hour
All students applying to Education must complete NS 107 and 6 credit units of 100-level English (English 113 will fulfill 3 of the 6 credit units required), regardless of the program to which they apply. Whether or not English and/or Social Studies are one of your teaching areas, this LC will fulfill prerequisites.
