Printing is charged through the Campus Print Accounting System (CPAS). A CPAS account is created for everyone automatically. This account is updated as you print. Printing charges will depend on whether or not you wish to print to a colour or black and white printer. Printing charges are $0.10 per page for black and white printers and $0.25 per page for colour printers.

Printing is Available in the following rooms

  • Room 1037 - Computers print to Black & White laser printer
  • Room 3137 - Computers print to Black & White or Colour laser printers located in Room 3136
  • Room 3126 - Computers print to Black & White or Colour laser printers

Wireless Access

Wireless access is available in all classrooms.

Technology Training

Technology Training for students is provided by IT4U

Free online training videos for U of S students is offered through

ADOBE TV provides free technical training.

Building and Computer Lab Hours

Rooms 1037, 3126 and 3134

  • 6:00am to 11:00pm -Monday to Friday
  • 7:00am to 10:30pm -Saturday and Sunday

Students are welcome to use the computers when a class is not in session.

The hours of operation are approximate.
The building hours are the same as the classroom hours.
In addition, computer classroom 1037 is open 24 hours. If you are in the building before it is locked, you can stay longer in room 1037.
The Education building is locked on Statutory Holidays.
