The Animation Project

Our project works with undergraduate mothers with lived experiences of poverty, who collaborated to create an animated graphic narrative along with other students from the University of Saskatchewan. Angel and Tania live in the core neighbourhood, are users of the programs and services at Station 20 West and they are also university students. This project is an example of the process of amplifying community voices and the social determinants of health in Saskatoon through animated stories: navigating university, inner city and home worlds.
