Budget & Special Projects
Budget and Special Projects provides the following services:
- Budget development in UniFi which includes preparation of the detailed annual budgets following Board
approval of the Budget Framework and ongoing administration of the budgets once in UniFi.
- Financial and administrative expertise, as required, ensuring: that a variety of capital and other major projects are initiated and resourced with appropriate financial and analytical support and completed in furtherance of university directions; and optimization and equitable allocation of resources across campus.

| Primary role is to provide financial analysis for major capital projects throughout
their life cycle, in accordance with the University's major capital governance
process. This includes working with Facilities Management Division and
capital project sponsors regarding development of capital and operating
projections , development of cash flow models, comparison of actual results
with projections, and identification and follow-up of funding sources.
