The Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching Effectiveness is the wing of the University Learning Centre dedicated to championing teaching at the University of Saskatchewan. We offer campus instructors various programs and workshops aimed at improving teaching effectiveness; we work with academic units to assist with their curriculum and course development activities; and we offer courses on teaching for graduate students and faculty.
The Gwenna Moss Centre endeavours to be a welcoming place for all who value teaching and learning. We welcome visitors to drop in any time to learn about our programming, to chat with our staff, and to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee or tea. - Please note: The deadline for the U of S Master Teacher Award has been extended to Friday, February 26, 2010.
- The U of S will be hosting the STLHE Conference in 2011.
- The Centre is pleased to announce the 2010 Sylvia Wallace Sessional Lecturer Award Winner Brian Zulkoskey.

New for 2010! Through a three-year grant from PCIP, the Centre will be offering 20 new teaching awards on campus.
- On January 11, the Centre was pleased to host a Question & Answer with Mike Wesch (video).
- In the winter term, The GMCTE is thrilled to offer mini courses on advanced topics.
- The Teaching and Learning Scholars grants for 2009-2010 have been awarded. The principle investigators for each project are: Vanina Dal Bello-Haas, Sandra Bassendowski, Rani Kanthan, Allan Dolovich, Elizabeth Quinlan, Patricia Dowling, and Mansfield Mela.
