In addition to our events and courses, the Gwenna Moss Centre offers a number of specific consultation services for individual instructors, programs, Departments, and Colleges.
Curriculum Development: The Curriculum Innovation Team at the GMCTE offers curriculum development support for programs, Departments and Colleges who are interested in curriculum renewal and innovation.
Instructional Design Support: The Instructional Design Team at the GMCTE offers specialized instructional design support for programs and individual faculty and instructors.
Peer Consultations: The GMCTE coordinates three types of peer consultation and observation services - faculty peer consultation (faculty member working with faculty member or instructor), GMCTE staff consultation (GMCTE staff member working with faculty member or instructor), and graduate student peer consultation (Graduate Student Teaching Fellow from the GMCTE working with a graduate student instructor).
Teaching Consultations: The staff within the GMCTE will also do individual consultations about any other aspect of teaching and learning, including (but not limited to) syllabus consultations, portfolio consultations, teaching evaluation consultations, and consultations about teaching or assessment strategies.
Graduate Students Teaching: Services for graduate student teachers who are interested in teaching techniques, courses, and workshops, including opportunities for graduate students who are interested in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Indigenous Education: Two members of the GMCTE team are dedicated (at least in part) to working on faculty development in the area of indigenous education.
