In addition to our events and courses, the Gwenna Moss Centre offers a number of specific consultation services for individual instructors, programs, Departments, and Colleges.
Curriculum Development and Instructional Design Support: The GMCTE offers curriculum development support for programs, Departments and Colleges, as well as instructional design support for programs and individual faculty and instructors.
Peer Consultations: The GMCTE coordinates three types of peer consultation and observation services - faculty peer consultation (faculty member working with faculty member or instructor), GMCTE staff consultation (GMCTE staff member working with faculty member or instructor), and graduate student peer consultation (Graduate Student Teaching Fellow from the GMCTE working with a graduate student instructor).
Teaching Consultations: The staff within the GMCTE will also do individual consultations about any other aspect of teaching and learning, including (but not limited to) syllabus consultations, portfolio consultations, teaching evaluation consultations, and consultations about teaching or assessment strategies.
Indigenous Education: Two members of the GMCTE team are dedicated (at least in part) to working on faculty development in the area of indigenous education.
