The TLt 2013 conference is pleased to announce the details of the preconference workshop that will be held the morning of May 1. The workshop, facilitated by plenary speaker Valerie Irvine (from the University of Victoria) together with Brad Wuetherick and Stan Yu (from the University of Saskatchewan), will introducing participants to evaluating the integration of technology in the teaching and learning environment. This gathering will bring together instructional designers from throughout Saskatchewan and beyond for a discussion about the work we are currently doing as well as our roles in the future in higher education. Topics to be discussed include:
We are pleased to announce the confirmation of keynote speakers Dr. Valerie Irvine, Co-Director of the Technology Integration and Evaluation Lab and Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria, and Dr. George Veletsianos, Assistant Professor of Learning Technologies at the University of Texas, Austin. Proposals will be accepted for 30 minute presentations (with an expectation of some interaction with between presenters and conference participants during that time).
The deadline to submit a proposal has been extended to February 11, 2013 at 4:30. The conference will also offer a limited number of displays to presenters interested in displaying innovations with learning technologies to those in attendance.
