The TLt 2013 Conference is pleased to offer a free pre-conference workshop to all participants introducing participants to evaluating the integration of technology in the teaching and learning environment.
Title: Evaluating the Integration of Technology: Understanding the Purpose and Process of Evaluation Research
Time: 9:00 am to Noon
Date: May 1
Where: Room 214 Arts
This workshop will introduce participants to what we know already about technology integration in higher education, and to the purpose of continued evaluation. Concepts covered will include research questions, the evaluation process, the description of outcome data, approaches to data collection, and the alignment of different approaches to types of questions asked. Following a short presentation, complete with a handout package (including references), participants will have plenty of time to discuss the presented material as well as their own evaluation projects or project ideas.
