The 30th annual Elks and Order of the Royal Purple

Walk-a-thon

The 30th annual Walk-a-thon was held in Star City, Saskatchewan on October 15th, 2005. Elks and Royal Purple lodge members from throughout the province participated in this walkathon. Star City hosted a very enjoyable and entertaining walkathon followed by a banquet. Guest speakers included Mark Pelechaty, who spoke about his son Michael (Geri Ann, Mark and Michael on the right). Michael is featuured on the cover of the SPARC brochure.The Walkathon raised $24,474.00 in ticket sales and $8,598.00 in pledges!!!!!!

This year the Walk-a-thon winners were:
